Financial Services

DEC MANAGEMENT is dedicated to preserving our clients capital. The financial management portion of our service is designed to plant and nurture a money tree for our clients and their family. The playing career of an athlete is relatively short. Most individuals not associated with sports are just maturing in their financial careers when the athlete is just retiring.

Our money tree philosophy begins with the establishment of a financial budget. Included in this budget are specific allocations to savings, or as we call them the seeds of the money tree. You continue to water and feed the tree by continuing to save and nurture your investments. Our goal is for your tree to mature and be ready to provide financial fruit to you and your family when your playing days are over. Our goal is for your money tree to provide you with income for the remainder of your life. Depending upon the income you earn throughout your playing career and how closely you stick to your budget, will determine the size of your money tree.

Financial management means more than providing for retirement. It also means preparing for those unforeseen events such as a career ending injury or death. Every financial client of DEC MANAGEMENT carries a quality disability policy that will replace their income in the event of a career threatening injury. Furthermore, DEC MANAGEMENT clients insure their lives to protect the lifestyle of their loved ones.

The financial management department of DEC MANAGEMENT works very closely with our legal and tax planning departments. The integration of these services provides comfort to our clients that every stone is looked under and every issue is discussed. We work with the top 1% of individuals in the financial services field and are with you every step of the way to make sure that their advice coincides with our lifelong game plan.

We are also able to provide lines of credit up to one million dollars per player based on their expected draft position.
